Gamal Casimir, MHA
Proprietor/Founder

Gamal started his professional career as a Healthcare Leader in the United States Air Force. His Air Force career spanned 20 years, holding various roles with increasing responsibilities, before migrating to the civilian sector. Gamal worked for Kaiser Permanente of Georgia (KPGA), a non-profit healthcare and health insurance company, for 13 additional years. During this period he attended Santa Barbara Community College where he earned an additional Associates in Health Information Technology degree. He later went on to earn a Masters in Healthcare Administration from University of Arkansas Grantham. At KPGA, Gamal served as a Health Information Management Services leader and trainer and as a Revenue Cycle Project Manager. Gamal previously served on DeVry University’s GA Health Information Technology Advisory Committee. Now, he’s ready to bring his professional experience to your organization.

Fatmakhanoo Gulam, MPH, MHI, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P

Fatma has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has worked as a Coding Validation Auditor in the Health Information Management Department at Kaiser Permanente. In October 2012, she became a Research Assistant Intern at Kaiser Permanente for her Masters Degree in Public Health. After obtaining her degree, Fatma used her leadership skills and new experience to become Kaiser Permanente’s Data Quality Manager. She later worked as a Professional Development Manager at Allegra Health Inc/Change Healthcare. Desiring to spread her knowledge, she became an Adjunct Professor for online programs at Kaplan University, Sinclair Community College, and American Public University Systems. In 2020, Fatma completed a second Masters Degree in Health Informatics. She is currently an Information Technology Consultant II for Kaiser Permanente and a recent advisor for Casimir Affiliates.

Foriest Melvin, MSIS
Advisor

Foriest offers over 30 years of IT and Information Security experience with a BS in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and a Masters in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University. He also has numerous Microsoft Certifications. Foriest currently serves as a Business Information Security Officer (BISO). In this role, he partners with vendors to provide information security guardrails, requirements, and controls to safeguard sensitive information. Additionally, he conducts risk assessments to develop vendor/solution risk profiles and engages Cyber Security Red Teams as needed. Foriest presents risk evaluations findings quarterly to senior leadership. He is a valuable resource and advisor to our organization.
